Eternal Words: Bharat’s Languages, Bharat’s Soul
Across centuries and regions, Sanatani wisdom has flowed through language.
Each language is religion
Each language is culture
Each language is Bharat
Each language is the survival of Bharat
Ek Bharat, Anke Bol – A National Movement to Preserve India’s Linguistic Heritage
Become the Custodian of Bharat’s Voices
Ek Bharat, Anek Bol, an initiative of the Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF), offers an opportunity to become the custodian of India’s linguistic and cultural legacy.
More than a literary festival, it is a national movement dedicated to preserving, documenting, digitising, celebrating, and globalising India’s rich linguistic heritage for future generations.
India is home to more than 780 living languages, yet nearly 400 are projected to disappear within the next five decades. Every language that is lost takes with it centuries of indigenous knowledge, folklore, traditions, literature, and collective memory.
Ek Bharat, Anek Bol seeks to reverse this trend by building a nationwide ecosystem that promotes Indian languages through literature, education, technology, translation, research, digital innovation, and cultural diplomacy.
