This initiative to create a platform to foster dialogue between Odisha’s indigenous literature(s) and the literature(s) around the world. First Kalinga Literary Festival in Koraput held on April 6,7 2018. Nearly 100 writers participated in the program. Kalinga Literary Festival instituted annual Koraput Literary Award. KLF in Koraput objective is to reach out to the entire Koraput valley and Southern Odisha, the region is rich in art, culture, nature and beauty. KLF in Koraput promotes an all-inclusive definition of literature which goes beyond the written text and includes all performances, informal story-telling and folklore.
