Central Theme: Literature for Peace and Harmony
Literature reflects and represents the human emotion both in its innocent simplicity and the increasing complexity. It’s a dynamic articulation of the society we live in. It plays an important role in reflecting upon human life in times of pain, pleasure, suffering, loss, exploitation, violence, resilience and also that of sacrifice, compassion, love, jubilation, peace, celebration and achievement.
We all know that Literature is the mirror of the society. At a subtle level it not only reflects it also guides the society. Literature(s) for centuries has shaped ideas and continue to drive us either to belong to each other or separate. Literature has been used both as reference and justification for both violence and compassion. War and Peace are no exception.
