This initiative to create a platform to foster dialogue between Odisha’s indigenous literature(s) and the literature(s) around the world. Kandhamal Literary Festival is an initiative to know about people, their needs, desires and aspirations and spiritually connect diverse communities.
The festival explores the interconnections between nature, culture, and literature and locate Kandhamal’s place in Odia literary imagination. He said the moto is to promote indigenous literature and culture of the region.
