Swati Chopra has worked for two decades in journalism, media and publishing. She is at present Executive Editor at HarperCollins India, prior to which she was Senior Commissioning Editor at Penguin Random House India. She commissions and publishes non-fiction, encompassing politics, history, investigative journalism, foreign policy and current affairs. Prior to publishing, she worked as a journalist and has written five books, including Dharamsala Diaries and Women Awakened. She lives in New Delhi and can occasionally be found walking in the Himalayas.
