
Ramesh Bhushal is an award-winning environmental journalist and writer. He is the author of the book ‘ Chhalbato: Kailash Dekhi Ganga Samma’—a travelogue covering over 2000 kilometers from China (Tibet) to India along the Karnali River. He is currently serving as the South Asia Coordinator for the Earth Journalism Network. Bhushal has worked as the environment correspondent for The Himalayan Times, with stints at Republica Daily, Ujyaalo Radio, Dialogue Earth, and the BBC’s Nepali Service. He holds a master’s degree in environmental science. For his reporting, he was awarded the WWF Nepal Media in Conservation Awards in 2010.
