
Rajesh Singh is the co-author of the recently released Iconic Indians: 75 Extraordinary Individuals who Inspired the Country. His previously published works include Baahubalis of Indian Politics: From Bullet to Ballot and Portraits of Hindutva: From Harappa to Ayodhya. Besides, he has written two fiction thrillers, The Viper and The K Conspiracy. Among the books he is working on, is one on the subject of Sikh separatism.
He has been a freelance analyst of politics, governance and public affairs and has contributed articles to well-known think-tanks such as Vivekananda International Foundation, Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation, ORF and Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses.
He has written on politics for media platforms such as ABP News, Wion and pgurus.com. He had a nine-year stint with the Delhi-based The Pioneer, where he was first the deputy national bureau chief and later the opinion editor. He also served as media advisor to Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar in 2002-03, during which period he was concurrently director, Department of Information & Publicity, Government of Goa. He is based in Ghaziabad.
