
PR Sreejesh is a professional hockey player who plays as a goalkeeper and former captain of the Indian national team. He plays in the Hockey India League for Uttar Pradesh Wizards. He won FIH Player of the Year Awards (2020-21) for best male goalkeeper. He made the Junior national team debut in 2004 against Australia in Perth and senior national team debut in 2006, at the South Asian Games in Colombo. In 2021, he received Khel Ratna Award. He is currently employed as Chief Sports Organizer with the Government of Kerala’s Department of General and Higher Education.
