Piyush Mishra is an Indian film and theatre actor, music director, lyricist, singer and scriptwriter. His journey initiated with Hindi theatre after he graduated from National School of Drama, Delhi. As an artist, theatre, lyrics writing and singing brought him establishment and acclamation over the period. He rose to fame with movies like Maqbool, Gulaal, Gangs of Wasseypur, Pink, etc. As a popular singer and lyricist, he is well-known for his works- Arre Ruk Ja Re Bandeh in Black Friday, Aarambh Hai Prachand in Gulaal, Ik Bagal in Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1, and Husna in MTV Coke Studio.
