Dr Bina Biswas is an academician, translator, poet, critic, and editor, with a PhD in English Literature from Andhra University, India, specialising in the works of Rabindranath Tagore.
She previously served as Professor of English Language and Communications at a group of institutions affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
An accomplished author of thirteen books, including acclaimed translations and poetry collections, Dr Biswas has participated as a panellist in numerous national and international literary festivals and conferences. A versatile translator proficient in multiple languages, she brings a distinctive intercultural perspective to her work.
In addition to her academic and literary contributions, she is the CEO of Rubric Publishing Solutions, New Delhi, where she works independently to promote high-quality literary and translation projects.
