Born in 1963 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Ashutosh Dubey earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication and a Ph.D. in English literature. His poetry collections include ‘Chor Darwaze Se,’ ‘Asambhav Saaransh,’ ‘Yaqeen Ki Ayatein,’ ‘Vida Lena Baqi Rahe,’ and ‘Sirf Vasant Nahi.’ Some of his poems are featured in prominent anthologies. Besides Indian languages, his poems have been translated into English and German. Ashutosh Dubey is deeply involved in translation and literary criticism. He has received recognition through awards like ‘Raza Award,’ ‘Kedar Samman,’ ‘Akhil Bharatiya Makhanlal Chaturvedi Award,’ ‘Vagishwari Award,’ and ‘Spandan Kruti Samman.’ Currently, he teaches English.
