Anita Koirala was born in Bhiman, Sindhuli, as the youngest child of Kalikadevi and Raghunath Koirala. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology.
Koirala began her literary journey in 2021 with the publication of her first article, Degreewali Grihini (“The Degree-holder Housewife”). Her debut book, Ujyalo Aunsi (“The Bright New Moon Night”), further established her voice in Nepali literature. Over the years, her essays and creative works have been widely published in various national newspapers and magazines.
She currently resides in Gurjudhara-5, Chandragiri Municipality, Nepal, and continues to contribute actively to the literary field.
